In September 1990, when DU was involved in the project to support the regional building authority in Fulda with project and construction supervision, the budget document 'HU-Bau' had already been permitted, the building application had been submitted, the planners had been commissioned and the first works on the building site had been started. DU collected the identified necessary changes for the performance standard and subsequent demands from the future users. Within the scope of DU's change management, single users'individual focuses of interest were moderated and co-ordinated, and a generally accepted structural engineering solution was found. DU's consistent control of planning and tender invitation schedules, as well as cost and performance status, created the necessary transparency for project supervision. Project decisions such as prevention of imminent delays within the construction process, were confirmed through DU's substantiated decision papers. at a glance
